Gut Health Treats — for tummies that need settling

Tummy trouble is miserable for everyone. Miserable for the dog, and miserable for whoever's up at 3am dealing with the consequences.

Daily treats to support healthy digestion, firmer stools and natural immunity. A surprising amount of a dog's general wellbeing traces back to their gut, so this is the one we'd start with if you only picked one.

Who they're for

  • Dogs with sensitive stomachs, or ones who react to a change of food
  • Loose or inconsistent stools
  • Dogs who eat things they absolutely should not eat
  • Excess wind — you know the sort
  • After a course of antibiotics, when gut flora needs a hand

How many to give

  • 23kg and under — 1 treat a day
  • 23–34kg — 2 treats a day
  • 34kg and above — 3 treats a day

Once daily, as part of your dog's routine. Always leave fresh water down and supervise while they chew. Check with your vet first for puppies under 6 months, or dogs that are pregnant, nursing or on medication.

If you're switching your dog's food at the same time, do that gradually over a week or so — sudden changes are usually the culprit.

Be patient with us

Gut flora takes time to settle. Give it a few weeks of daily use, and try not to change three things at once or you'll never know what worked.

One important note: persistent vomiting, blood in stools, or a dog who's gone off food entirely needs a vet, not a supplement. Please don't wait on us for that.

Happy tummies,

  • Pumpkin

Fiber-rich and gentle on the gut. Pumpkin’s soluble fiber helps absorb excess water in loose stools and adds bulk when things are too soft—supporting more regular, well-formed poops. It also provides natural beta‑carotene and potassium for overall digestive wellness.

  • Inulin

A fermentable fiber (often from chicory root) that feeds beneficial gut bacteria. By nourishing the microbiome, inulin supports stool quality, better nutrient absorption, and a balanced digestive environment.

  • Red Elm Bark

Mucilaginous bark that forms a soothing gel when mixed with moisture. It can coat and calm irritated stomach and intestinal linings, helping with occasional digestive discomfort.

  • Ginger

A well-known tummy tamer. The gingerols and shogaols in ginger can help ease occasional nausea, gas, and bloating. It also supports normal motility in the GI tract.

  • Probiotic (Bacillus velezensis)

A hardy, spore-forming probiotic strain built to survive manufacturing and stomach acid. It helps populate the gut with “good” bacteria, supporting healthy digestion, immunity, and fresher breath from the inside out.
